What are your RPO and RTO metrics ?

This article describes what are the Recovery Point and Recovery Time objectives in Sleekplan

Updated this week

RPO stands for Recovery Point Objective and it is a time measure on how much data an organization can afford losing after a disaster happens. Sleekplan has an RPO of 4 hours, which means that backups are run at least every 4 hours so that , in case a restore is needed, the older available backup is of 4 hours before the disaster time mark (in the worst case scenario).

RTO stands for Recovery Time Objective and it defines the maximum acceptable time that it would take to restore a system or service before causing a business negative impact. It answers the question "how much time can we afford to be offline before experiencing unacceptable consequences in business continuity? ".

Sleekplan RTO is 12 hours.
