Creating surveys in Sleekplan is a straightforward process that allows you to gather valuable feedback from your users. You can easily design surveys tailored to your needs. This guide will walk you through the steps of creating a survey using the Survey interface.
Getting Started
Before you start creating a survey, make sure you are logged in to your Sleekplan account and have access to the Sleekplan dashboard.
Navigate to the Surveys Page: To create a new survey, go to the Surveys section in your Sleekplan dashboard.
Click on "Create": Once you're on the Surveys page, click on the "Create" button to begin creating your survey.
Designing Your Survey
You'll be presented with a form where you can define various aspects of your survey:
Name: Give your survey a descriptive name. This name is for internal purposes only and won't be visible to survey respondents.
Question Types: Select the type of question you want to add to your survey from the dropdown menu. Sleekplan supports several question types, including:
Text Block
Multiple Choice
Single Choice
Free Text
Scale
Adding Questions: After selecting a question type, click on "Add Question" to add it to your survey.
Question Details: Depending on the question type, you'll be prompted to provide additional details such as question text, options (for multiple or single-choice questions), and scale range (for scale questions).
Conditional Logic: You can set conditions for when certain questions should be displayed based on the respondent's previous answers. This feature allows you to create dynamic surveys that adapt based on user input.
How It Works: Conditional Logic allows you to create dynamic surveys that adapt based on the responses of your respondents. You choose a trigger question and define conditions under which subsequent questions should be displayed. Sleekplan offers various condition options, including:
Answer Contains: Show the question if the respondent's answer contains a specific value.
Answer Is: Show the question if the respondent's answer matches a specific value.
Answer Is Greater Than: Show the question if the respondent's answer is greater than a specified value (for numerical answers).
Answer Is Less Than: Show the question if the respondent's answer is less than a specified value (for numerical answers).
Use Cases: Conditional Logic offers endless possibilities for creating personalized and efficient surveys. You can create branching surveys, prioritize feedback collection, and provide customized experiences based on user input.
Best Practices: Keep conditions relevant, test your logic before deployment, and provide clear instructions to users when questions are conditionally displayed.
Required Questions: Mark questions as required if you want respondents to answer them before submitting the survey.
Saving Your Survey
Once you've designed your survey, it's time to save it:
Submit or Update Survey: If you're creating a new survey, simply click on the "Create survey" button. If you're updating an existing survey, the button will say "Update survey". Click on it to save your changes.
Creating a Popup: After saving your survey, you have the option to create a popup for it. This popup can be displayed within your app to prompt users to take the survey. You can create the popup by clicking on "Create a popup" and following the prompts.
Sharing Your Survey: You can share your survey by either directly sharing the survey link or embedding the survey as an in-app popup. Choose the option that best suits your needs.
