A quick recap: What is the Action Screen?
The Action Screen gives your users quick access to key functions through shortcut buttons called action items; things like submitting a bug report, leaving a suggestion, or checking your roadmap. You can customize these items with a title, description, icon, size, and a specific action (like opening a board or a custom link).

Applying Segmentation to Action Items
โ First: Create your user segment
Before you can assign a segment to an action item, you'll need to have at least one segment set up in Sleekplan.
If you haven't created a segment yet, start here: ๐ User Segmentation
Once your segment is ready, come back here and follow the steps below.
๐Assign a segment to an action item
Follow these steps to create an action item and restrict its visibility to a specific user segment:
Step 1: Go to Widget Settings
From your Admin dashboard, navigate to:
Step 2: Set the Action Screen as your Home module
In the Home Screen section, open the Module dropdown and select Action Screen. This sets the Action Screen as the first thing users see when they open the widget.
Step 3: Create a new action item
Click the "New Action Item" button to start configuring your action item. Fill in the title, description, icon, size, and action type as needed.
Step 4 โ Choose a segment for the action item
In the action item settings, locate the Segment field. Use the dropdown to select the user segment you'd like this action item to be displayed to. Only users who belong to that segment will see this item in the widget ,everyone else won't.
๐ก Tip: You can combine segmented and non-segmented action items on the same Action Screen. Items without a segment assigned will be visible to all users, while segmented ones will only show up for their respective audience.
