Setting up Status Tags

Get started with custom statuses

Updated over a week ago

Administrators can create custom status tags. You can create as many statuses in Sleekplan as you need to reflect the workflow. You can also name all tags as you like and adjust the color to get things more organized.

Statuses are visible on the feedback post, to which they are assigned, and on your roadmap. However, you can determine which states should appear in your roadmap.

To create or edit a status navigate to Settings > Statuses on the admin dashboard. Here you can find a list of your current status tags.

ℹ️ There are three status tags that cannot be deleted (Open, Closed, and Completed) since native functions are attached to these tags.

You have several options:

  • Add or delete: Select the "Add Status" button to create new ones or delete one by selecting the trash icon.

  • Change color: To change the color, select the color plate icon. You can choose from a predefined list of colors or set a custom one using the hex code field.

  • Change name: You can change the name by selecting the gear icon.

Setting up a status for the roadmap

  • Show/hide on the roadmap: The option to show or hide a status on the roadmap is also accessible via the gear icon. Use the switch below the name to enable or disable the status on the roadmap.

  • Change order on the roadmap: Drag n drop an icon to the right position via the dragging icon in front of the status tag will change the position on the roadmap.
